Italian "Grilled Cheese" Sandwich

This is a very delicious, and not very healthy treat. My brother begs me to make these for him - they are just cheesy deliciousness!

Italian "Grilled Cheese" Sandwich

Ingredients:
Mozzarella Cheese (1 slice/sandwich)
Bread (2 slices/sandwich)
Pizza Sauce
Breading Ingredients: flour, eggs, Italian Style bread
crumbs

Directions:

Cut one slice of cheese for each sandwich you are making.

Place your cheese slice onto a piece of bread and cut around it.
Do this twice for each sandwich (2 slices of bread/sandwich).
Spoon pizza sauce onto each slice of bread.
Assemble your sandwiches, with the pizza sauce and cheese in the middle.

Set up your breading station. Flour, beaten eggs, and bread crumbs.

Coat the sandwich in flour, ensuring the edges where the pizza sauce is very well coated.

Coat sandwich in the egg wash.

Coat sandwich in the breadcrumbs.

Re-coat in the egg wash and add another coat of breadcrumbs to ensure the sandwich has a nice crust on it.

Heat your deep fryer to it's highest setting, or heat your oil to 375 degrees.

Fry the sandwich for approximately 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
Flip sandwiches over and fry for another 1-2 minutes.
Sandwiches should be a dark golden brown, and if the cheese starts to ooze out then you know they are done.

Serve with a side of pizza sauce for dipping and enjoy!
